Surfing in Germany? In a river? Yep since 35 years people surf in a small river in Munich, Bavaria. Now they made a film about it: Keep Surfing (in German)

Even though I walk through the beautiful valley…
We have sunshine in Germany too - even in Winter :-) But it was freezing cold so I didn’t take a rest on the cold bank.
I took all pictures on January 9 and uploaded them unedited to Flickr the same day.
This weekend (June 4 to June 5, 2011) several hundred German citizens participate in the 3rd German PolitCamp to discuss politics and especially political communications in the web together with members of the German parliament (“Bundestag”).
PolitCamp (website, in German) takes place in the “Wasserwerk” in Bonn, German parliament’s location from 1986 until 1992 while the Bundestag’s original building was undertaken extensive renovation.
Some people already participated in last year’s PolitCamp - as I did. If you see some pictures from PolitCamp and there’s a guy wearing an Aloha shirt and possibly giving a shaka sign… that’s me, Frank :-)
