About data connection
Our B&B accomodation Lokelani Garden is located near Kapa’a about 3 or 4 miles away from the coast. My iPhone is switching from AT&T to T-Mobile and back and …. to get a sufficient connection. But even when connected the data connection is very poor and not very reliable.
On the one hand this lets me almost forget about roaming prices and about checking emails and messages in various networks like facebook. To be honest: It’s a real good feeling :-)
On the other hand it’s difficult to stay in touch with our friends, contacts and followers. Here on Kauai I check Twitter at least 1 or 2 times a day for tweets, mentions and directs. Every 2 or 3 days I will check email for important messages because of their header.
But don’t panic: I will be online on a more regular base at least on Maui and Oahu where we will have internet access in our B&B :-)
